Things I’m doing this morning: Stitching quickie curtains for the program space.

Things we tried to get the kids involved with but required too much “effort” and “work” to be fun or interesting: Stitching quickie curtains for the program space.

Things I should probably be waiting to do at the program space so I get paid for it: Stitching quickie curtains for the program space.

…maybe I should put this down and go into work even earlier than requested to stitch them there.  I wonder if my supervisor would be aggravated and consider that slacking, but they did ask me to come in half an hour early to finish them.

Though I don’t think half an hour would be enough to quick-stitch (hand stitch) seven straight-across short curtains AND hang them all.

…why does this not feel like a “normal” problem for a youth worker to be mulling over?  Ah well, at least I can cut them and pin them now.  The fabric I scored for these is really bright and fun.  It’s a good start to the day.
