Prompted by some of the conversations about what’s been promoted, I took a look and saw that two recent posts of mine had been.

And I really appreciate whoever is paying that sort of attention.  But I also can’t figure out why those were promoted as opposed to other posts, as I don’t know what they contributed more than my spouting warm-and-fuzzy celebrations to the folks watching me.

I would gladly give those up to see other, insightful posts promoted.  I’m not criticizing anyone, I really appreciate, again, whoever thought what I have to say is worth promoting — it just sometimes confuses me, knowing what I put effort into and what’s just a cheerful fluffy one-off.
